OK, now it's time to share the past week here in California. Notice that the lines of swell along the West Coast of North America have longer lines--a result of the Pacific Ocean having a lot of open room for swells to build on. The Mediterranean, in the post below this one, has shorter period swells, as the Giant Puddle (The Med) is always running out of room for swells to build on.
This, along with other things (rocket attacks, Islamist militias, and warmer water and jellyfishes) are some of the other differences.
