Spyless in Lebanon

Hezbollah has taken out US and Israeli spies in Lebanon. Beyond what the video says, I'd like to add that Beirut is the hub of CIA operations in the Arab world. Particularly in Syria. This will be a blow for US efforts to deal with Hezbollah in the event of an attack on Iranian nuclear facilities. It will also be a blow in trying to figure out what's going on in Syria. (However, there is always the Turkish front for that.)

Just wow. I guess I've never seen Assad speak in English before. What a trip. Any thoughts beyond the obvious cringe?

Interesting how isolated and vulnerable the regime feels. They are. And that could be a big reason why they believe they can shoot their way out of what Russia called a "civil war."
