The Sunni's of Syria

Over at the Angry Arab, the following is quoted. Thus, I am re-quoting a quote.

"Moderate Sunnis in Syria are worried by the increasing militancy of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Salafis who have taken the upper hand in opposition ranks. The large pro-regime demonstrations in Damascus and Aleppo over the past week cannot simply be written off as crowds who were intimidated or threatened with loss of jobs if they did not turn out."
This could be big for Russia's claim that Syria resembles a civil war. Is it not?

Duqu Worm Infecting Iranian Nuclear Systems

Today, Iran announced that Duqu, a new malware worm, has infected a number of systems in the country. However, a software program to “control” it has already been developed and distributed to affected sites.

The Duqu worm shares a code base with Stuxnet. It was not known if the new worm was also targeting those same installations.

Duqu was discovered on September 1st, at a University of Budapest laboratory.

Fluir article on Surfing the Middle East (dont ask me to translate)

Well . . . what a surprise. The largest surfing magazine in Brazil, Fluir, has somehow found my work and has written an article on it. And when I was in Brazil last month, I saw it! (Tho I should say that the writer did contact me to let me know, but still, it was a Huge Random Surprise.)

What the hell, eh?
