Lebanon's government collapses
Well ... Lebanon's government just collapsed.
Not fully surprising. Syria & Saudi Arabia failed to secure a "deal" to calm tensions. I'm just glad everyone hasn't taken to the streets ... yet.
(It's actually kind of Sickly Lebanon Funny: I just typed that knowing that I will not update this blog for a few days because I'm busy getting Surfing the Middle East onto the app store ... and by that time, things in Lebanon might have spread to street confrontation. Let's hope NOT. And ... that this whole thing is just a conspiracy by Lebanese surfer's to deter foreigners from their best breaks.)

Update: Andrew Exum has a good take on Nada Bakri piece on the NYT's today ... and how Obama can't be blamed for the decay of the pro-Western government (if you could even call it that in the first place).
