Bombarding the Baja Coast

I've been running Blogging The Casbah for a few years now--and anyone who has been following for any fraction of that time knows that I like to blog on things far beyond the Middle East. In fact, the whole brand of this site is that I combine things with the Middle East ... like Surfing.

So in thinking about future projects today, I felt that this post is in order ... it basically answers the question: Why surfing?

Sure, surfing is a love of mine. But travel, beyond the basic "the food was good", is the game. If I were to do a cool project on Baja (where all these videos and pictures came from) I would be sure to include everything from the drug war, to the porno-loving fishermen, to the epic surf that bombards the Baja coast.

So think of this as a sample of what's to come... and enjoy~!

Greg Graffin, Bad Religion and The Common Good

It may be in the interest of the greater good that you watch this video ... but it does NOT take away from the fact that you sill need to start following my pseudo-celebrity profile on Twitter.

Jesse Aizenstat is now on Twitter (Lord help us)

Not that anyone cares--I barely do--but I just opened a Twitter account and I will be "tweeting" more than a few times a day.

My user name: Jesse Aizenstat

Why am I on Twitter now? Well, a few reasons ... mostly because part of my book on Surfing the Middle East is going to be published as an early release Ipad Zbook (more on that later) and I am supposed to start building my "fan base." Yeah, I know. CRAZY!

So anyway, follow if you want to ... if not, see you down at the last Whiskey Bar.

PS - Who else is on Twitter? I'll follow you!

Update:

In a recent interview, Kim Kardashian says her "entire body is hairless". Sounds like she went into a salon and asked for "The Aizenstat".
