Beyond the Blue Line: Surfing from northen Israel to southern Lebanon

If you've been shootin' the breeze in this Casbah for a while, you've likely read a few of my posts from the Middle East. But more than that, you've likely heard about these so-called radio shows I was doing en route. Right? Well, the editing process has taken a little longer than I expected, but our dear friends over at KPFZ 88.1 FM, a California NPR affiliate, have started to post a few of my interviews on their website. Waahoo!!!

Though I have to admit that I’m a bit mortified by the concept of people listening to my voice in hour segments, we’ve got good reviews thus far--enough to keep editin' this guerrillas Skype rants from abroad.

As far as I know, Blogging The Casbah has a monopoly of analyzing the Middle East thorough gonzo surfing adventures beyond the Blue Line.

That'd be a good name for a book wouldn't it? "Beyond the Blue Line."

Fantastic series. I only have one complaint, you need to tell them its University of San Diego, not San Diego University(too close to San Diego State University).

I can't wait to read the book. I like the name Beyond the Blue Line. P.S. I better be in that book somewhere.

Azzeem (Perfect/of course). I told 'em but they said it was too late to change. But, of course, I agree.

Great going Abu --
Rooster says is "I better be in that book"
Does the Rooster know no shame? Must he get his tail feathers ruffled?

I look forward to hearing the interviews -- an hour is a long time to listen -- but, I intend to give it a try.

Folks, this blog is getting multi-media -- cool.
