One thing that tickles me about the Taliban blowing up supply routes in Pakistan is that it will give the U.S. another reason to warm up to Iran. I mean look at the map, there aren't a lot of other options. Look for it.
(NOTE)
Iran just launched their first space satellite. Experts fear that this this an overture to a ballistic missile program.

I think those Persians get the non-nuclear deterrence award huh? geez.

Iran also announced Tuesday that it would test its new version of a radar-evading plane in the first half of the new Iranian year, which starts on March 21. The commander of the Iranian air force, Brigadier General Hassan Shah-Safi, said Tuesday that Iran had also increased the flight range of its fighters to over 1,200 miles... what do you think he meant by these statements?
Tel Aviv
We are talking "on the way to Hong Kong" -- dude, China is the prize.
And, so the Rooster crows . . .
Franco I think in this case it may be appropriate to refer to it as "the crow fly's".
Agreed
Just an fyi for all those interested, the total distance from Iran to China is 2,976 miles.
This is equivalent to 4,789 kilometers or 2,586 nautical miles.
Your travel direction from Islamic Republic of Iran to People's Republic of China is East (71 degrees from North).
The distance calculator used measures the straight line flight distance ("as the crow flies") between points. It uses the great circle formula to compute the travel mileage. You can also use this data to calculate the flight emissions from Iran to China to determine your carbon footprint.
China is 4.5 hours ahead of Iran.
Pretty sure China would have fun with Iran if that's what your referring to.. my guess is Tel Aviv was the target of the statements, professionally speaking.
Yea but China is one big time zone
I prefer to look at them in more relative terms... like the time it takes to order some Szechuan chicken and a bowl of bird nest soup.
